Our America is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit 501 c4 organization of independent-minded Americans who reject the notion that voters and taxpayers should be limited to only the choices offered by the two major national political parties whose singular objectives are often power. Today, more than 4 out of 10 voters – a plurality – do NOT identify with either of the two “major” parties. Rather, they choose to call themselves independents. Our America believes this partisan divide is one of the greatest obstacles to real progress on issues that matter. Criminal Justice Reform. Election fairness. Drug policy. These are just a few of the issues that are not Republican nor Democrat and on which consensus could readily be found if approached from common sense, rather than politics.
